Self-reliance is having the tools, materials and skills to meet our basic needs without relying on any government or external organization for survival. For us, Modern Self-Reliance is being as self-reliant as possible given the limitations of an urban society.

Self-reliance is having the mindset to persevere and overcome the many challenges of life. Sometimes it's the little things like a flat tire, or it could be a major disaster. Preparedness is more than buying stuff, it's about careful planning, skills and learning. Come learn with us.
